A Sunday of Relaxing

Normally on a Sunday, I have a few church services to attend. 7:45 am, 10:45 am, 3:30 pm, and 6:00 pm. Yeah, I know that's a lot but I've been doing it for so long, my body has pretty much adjusted to it. I sing and direct so that's why I'm involved with a lot of services on a Sunday. But I'm thankful that this time of the year, my church has slowed down from the evening engagements and it gives me an opportunity to be at home.

Today, was just a simple Sunday. My husband's church, where I direct the choir at, has two services every Sunday; 7:45 am and 10:45 am. And, that was it for me today. I hung around with a couple of folks afterwards and I left and headed home about 1:50 pm. I then home to get out of my Sunday attire and just put on some lounging clothes. Nothing fancy, but it had to match though...lol.

I made a quick run to the grocery store to get the remaining of my Sunday dinner. Dinner is Pot Roast with potatoes, carrots, celery, onion, and mushrooms and cornbread. A perfect homemade meal for a perfect home feel Sunday and with relaxing weather. Dinner was put on in the crockpot (the meat was cooking all night long...it had an extra hour...lol) while I took a wonderful Sunday nap. You know those things will completely bless your soul! And now dinner with my guys and that's it.

This has truly been a relaxing Sunday!
