(Singing- "Christmas time is here. Happiness and cheer. Fun for all that children call
Their favorite time of the year.")
2020 has been a budget tight year for us all. With COVID shutting down businesses and families getting hit hard with not being able to work, it's kind of hard financially. No one has been omitted from this. It has hit us all. But you still want to have a nice Christmas for your family and give some gifts. Well, check out these ideas and/or stores that can help with your budget this holiday season.
Yes, 5 Below. This store is one of my top go-to stores, especially for tech items and phone chargers. Now at first, you couldn't find anything over $5. They now have some items that are $8. But that is still not a bad price. It is something in the store for everybody. Check it out and you will be glad that you did.
Dollar Tree. Who said that you can't find any nice items in Dollar Tree? Sorry, but you can. I personally like to make small care packages from items bought out of Dollar Tree. And, you can't forget the gift bags, wrapping paper, and bows. And, they have some beautiful items for home decor. You will be amazed at what you can grab for $20 in that store.
For the last few years, I have thrift shopped. And, I have found some great name brand items in the thrift store. Some people are picky about hand me downs. I'm not. Buy them. Wash them. Shape it up real good. And, BAM! Just like new...again! Go in and check out some of your local thrift shops. It's worth the trip.
Talking about local shopping? Facebook Marketplace! Yes, you can find some great items, locally, for a cheap price. I have gotten a lot of items that I am using today from Facebook Marketplace and I am glad that I did. It's neighborly to shop local. You will be amazed at what is being sold for a cheap price right around the corner from you. Join the local marketplace groups for your area.
Now, this is for my DIY people. If you have one or even both of these machines, you will be amazed at what you can make out of these cutting machines. You can make cards, decals, shirts, hats, monograms, etc. And just think, you made it with your own hands. I think that will definitely be a personal hit!
Why must you still hold on to that item that still has the tag on it and it's practically still new? You know that is only taking up space, right? Re-gift it. Give it to someone that you know will make use of it. Both of you will be happy in the exchange.
What are some ways that you will be gifting this year for Christmas that is friendly to your budget? Leave a comment!
xoxo
