On yesterday, my supervisor and I decided that we were going to enjoy the beautiful day and have lunch outside. The area our office is in, there are many options for lunch but we both wanted something light. You know, nothing that would make you sleepy and not wanting to do any more work for the day.
I know I wanted a salad for lunch. So she (my supervisor) suggested Ashley Mac's (Inverness location) and I said cool because we order from them for our company meetings. The weather was pleasant. The sun was bright. So, we ate out on the patio. It was enjoyable. We got out of the office and just relaxed. You know it's nice to just get out of the office and breathe sometimes.
So we went in to place our order (which was very pleasant). So many great things on the menu but remember we were keeping it light. So, I order the Baby Bleu Salad (with fresh strawberries, mandarin oranges, bleu cheese crumbles and sugared almonds) with a scoop of their chicken salad and a water with lemon. She ordered the club sandwich with the soup of the day, which was the tomato basil soup and a sweet tea.
Y'all (which is my favorite word), that lunch was so good!!! I enjoyed every bite of mine and she as well. So to say, I will definitely be going back to them to try other entrees they have. I enjoy eating good food and so should you.
So Ashley Mac's, you get 5 stars from me for outstanding food and service!!
So if you are ever in the Inverness area and you are looking for something easy and great to eat, I highly recommend Ashley Mac's. They also offer catering and gourmet-to-go meals.
