Managing Monthly Subscriptions for 2022

*This post contains a free download.*

If you are like me, you probably added on a few subscriptions in 2021. At that moment, the amount and products sounded great. And, it worked for your budget, at that moment.

But as time went on, I or maybe you, realize that the product was no longer needed. Or better yet, you are trying to cut spending and save in many areas as possible. Some subscriptions you may have to keep, which is understandable. But for those that are just here and there and don't need to be anywhere, you can go in and cancel those subscriptions.

Now is the perfect time for you to do go through that list and make the decision on which ones you want to take into 2022 and which ones you don't.

How to organize your subscriptions for the new year.

1) Pull a notepad and pen. Or if you have a budget planner or excel spreadsheet that tracks your finances, have that accessible.

2) If you bank online, open the app and type in the businesses names, and see the amounts and dates that it clears your account.

3) Decide on a budget amount you want to spend every month for your subscriptions.

4) Review all of your subscriptions. Make the choice of what's staying and what's going.

5) Once the decision is made, go and/or call the companies to cancel the subscription. If they are on auto pay, make sure you check that information so the amounts won't continue to come out of your account.

*If you are pausing subscriptions, make sure you put the reminder date on your calendar (preferably your phone calendar) so you will know when it will start back.*

Happy savings to you!

xoxo
