The 5 W's in Achieving Your Goals

Okay, during this quarantine lifestyle that we have all faced for the last four months, some of us have probably put our goals to the side. I mean let's face it, our lives came to a complete halt and we had to readjust. I know for me, there were a lot of readjusting going on, both personally and professionally. We all blinked and WHAM, we are stuck at home, literally. It's the perfect lifestyle for an introvert though.


There are some that were able to get a few quiet days and finally woke up and said, today, I am going to look over my goals and work on them. I am one of the ones that said "okay, I am going to pick up my goals list and start working on achieving them". It was not easy.


For myself, I wrote down the 5 w's of how I can achieve my goals better. Sometimes, I may get stuck on trying to achieve a certain goal because I may put too much thought in it and not really focus on the basics of the goal. So, here is my list of better ways to achieve your goals.




5 ways to achieving your goals better.


1) What. What are you trying to achieve in your goals?


2) When. When are you going to achieve them? Create a time line that is realistic.


3) Where. Where will the achieved goal take you in life? Will you be elevated and promoted? Is there a advancement in the plans for achieving the goal?


4) Why. Why are you doing this?


5) Who. Who are you doing this for? Yourself? Your family?
