6 Months before Christmas...today!

Did you know that as of today, we are officially 6 months away from Christmas?

YES!!

Didn’t 2019 just get here?? I know you weren’t prepared for the “c” word, but let’s face reality. As fast as time is going, it will be here in no time. Now some people get stressed out when they here that word but why. There is no need to go overboard on that day. As my husband says, “it’s not my birthday, It’s the time we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ”. Yes, he gets that technical but, he is telling the truth.

You will find the follow post that will help you for the holidays –

I personally like Christmas and I start listening to Christmas music in May. Yeah, don’t ask. It’s relaxing and it calms my nerves. Crazy?? Maybe to you but not to me. People around me, including my boss, they are use to it.

Just a few tips to help you as you prepare early for the upcoming Christmas season.

1) Plan ahead. If you are hosting any holiday parties, going on trips, or just a small gathering with immediate family at your home, plan ahead. Also, plan ahead of what you would like to do for the holiday season. Anything that you can grab early and store it until it’s time for use, would be a tremendous help.

2) Budget. Yep, there’s the “b” word. Yes, this is one of the largest spending season of the year. But, that doesn’t mean that you have to be a large spender. I personally like to use the Budget Planner by Happy Planner to help me know where my money is going and what it is being used for. You can even start a cash envelope of what you want to spend for the holiday season and add money to that, so when it comes time to use it, you won’t go into your regular funds.

3) Relax. I’ve said this before but you must relax and not get overwhelmed by all of the sales, decoration, etc. Remember, there is a December 26th after December 25th.

4) Enjoy your family. You can get so caught up in the frizz of the season and you become to tired that you can’t even enjoy spending time with your family. This is the time to spend with them. Don’t you or make them regret it.

I know with the heat blazing in some areas of our country and snow in the oddest areas, during this time of the year, and rain, rain, it just won't go away, Christmas is hard to think about. But you don't want it sneaking up on you and you not be prepared for it. It's coming rather you like it or not and you might as well start planning RIGHT...NOW!!!

xoxo
